Inside Tidal Atlas

Tidal Atlas treats the ocean as a moving archive of feeling. Large marine creatures suggest steadiness, courage and freedom; fish schools carry a shared direction. Coral gardens become places for memory and connection, while open water leaves space around the story. The result is an imagined emotional map expressed through marine life.

The Visual Language

Crisp silhouettes sit against watercolor-and-gouache-like fields. Decorative markings make each creature readable, while turquoise, deep blue and green create the surrounding water. Coral, shell pink, amber and violet offer points of contrast. Many compositions gather their detail lower in the image, leaving a more open stretch of water above.
